After 6 visits, I have decided to compile my Ibiza recommendations, Enjoy the greatest place on earth. <3

Restaurants, Eating, Beach clubs:

  • Fish shack – a MUST! Enjoy fish, lamb cutlets or prawns with sides right on the water. No bookings, no menu, cash only. Take your swimmers to have a quick dip while you wait for a table.
  • Casa Maca – try to book this for around 8pm to watch the sunset. An earth to table vibe and literally looks over the whole of ibiza town. The fresh meat and fish hang over an open fire, as you enjoy the alfresco dining and a live DJ. There are no sauces, only salt & pepper which I love! This was definitely my favourite meal of my 2022 trip.
  • Sunset Ashram – my favourite place in Ibiza (on earth). I am getting married here, I already have enquired. Book a 7-8pm dinner again. Spend the afternoon at the beach then enjoy your meal at the restaurant as the sunsets. Swim before, after or during your booking. It is truely heaven on earth. Every sunset has a beautiful bongo performance on the beach, however nothing compares to the live band on Sunday. To this day, the Sunday I spent swimming, dancing to live music, eating & watching the sunset was the best day of my life.
  • Es Boldado – a MUST for great food. A very traditional Spanish restaurant. Super chill. Great food and has the most amazing view of Es Vedre which is the highest point in Ibiza a beautiful rock! I recommend the Paella.
  • Los Enamarados – Another great beach restaurant to spend the day eating, swimming & watching the sunset. I recommend hiring a paddle board and booking a late lunch.
  • El Silencio – so chill and another beautiful beach restaurant. Get a late lunch and then watch the sunset and swim. Some days have dancing and live music, so recommend checking online which days that is and align with your booking.
  • Blue Marlin – Good for a day bed and beach club vibes. A bit more of a mainstream beach club then others. Was not my favourite meal and the service was disappointing. However, great for a beautiful beach with a fancy day bed.
  • Es Torrent & Jondal – Both are hard to book but have amazing food. Again pack your swimmers for after. Keep checking online for cancellations, you will not be disappointed.
  • Oku & Nobu  – Both great Japanese restaurants, with beautiful hotels attached. If you want a nice chill dinner, without the beach club atmosphere these are for you.
  • Nodu – Amazing fresh menu, really simple restaurant with outstanding food. Elevated looking over the water. The squid & oysters are unbelievable.
  • Passion Cafe – a chain health food cafe, my favourite breakfast. Great brunch, lunch, even dinner at the Playa Den Bossa franchise. You will need the immunity shot 😉

Things to do:

  • Destino hotel has a Barry’s bootcamp. I hate Barry’s bootcamp but this was fun, it was outdoors on a stage with headphones. Definitely a different experience to anywhere else in the world.
  • Book a Boat – this is expensive but worth every cent. Split it between a group do the route to Formentera and get lunch there. It is the best day. The skipper will stop and let you swim in the most amazing clear water. Search online boats & negotiate prices through whats app.
  • Ibiza Old Town – go spend a few hours looking at the shops and amazing streets.
  • BEACHES – so many unbelievable beaches. Here are the beaches I’ve been too – Berrina, Sa Caleta, Cala Bassa, El Chiringuito & the rest that the restaurants above are on.
  • Sound Healing – an amazing experience, not for everyone and hard to come by in Ibiza. Personally a life changing few hours for me. @jeremiequidu

For clubbing it depends what you like in terms of music.

  • Ushuaia is a main attraction. I used to love it, I did not last year. But it has the main commercial DJ’s and is an experience. Last year was too crowded for me & gave me schoolies/ Geordie Shore vibes. However it does go from 12-5pm and is a great production.
  • Pacha Mondays Solomun – best set ever in my opinion. He also plays at Destino Pacha on Thursday’s.
  • Hi – I recommend Black Coffee (Saturday) or Fisher (Wednesday).
  • DC10 – no words, an ultimate Ibiza experience.
  • In previous years I have also loved Carl Cox’s 8 hour set.

Bear in mind all the main DJ’s come on at 3am and end around 6am, so pick and choose your battles.

Accomodation

  • Destino Pacha – the perfect mix of party & relaxation.
  • Ibiza Sun – if you want to be walking distance to Hi & Ushuaia, again Playa Den Bossa gives me schoolies/ Geordie Shore vibes so not for everyone.
  • Oku Ibiza
  • Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay
  • Six Senses

I recommend a car but if you can’t drive, taxi number below and your hotel should be able to call one for you. Otherwise when you leave a club there is usually a taxi line. There are no uber’s in Spain.
